The man you see coming and going: closed, individual; yet the deepest layer of the human being is not closed, not individual, is interconnected with everything, is identical with the single existence lying at the bottom of all forms.
The timeless infinity unfolding from behind the finite personality in time: the soul. The timeless infinity that does not need to unfold: the God.
Separate boundaries exist only in space and time; that which is spaceless, timeless: it is unbroken. The human soul emerging from the shell of personality is identical with God, as silence is with silence, but as the cessation of noise is with silence.
Man, when freed from his enclosure, sees God in three ways: as a being beyond the "is", without reference; as love enveloping and radiating the universe; and as an infinite soul shining forth after the disintegration of finite personality.
For the God-immersed man, there is no longer anything desirable or undesirable, no longer any degree; everything is infinite and desireless love. For him all is the same: all is the Absolute Unchanging, from which flows the myriad changing phenomena. God contains all, and the liberated soul contains all in God.

Az ember, akit jönni-menni látsz: zárt, egyéni; s az emberalkat legmélyebb rétege nem zárt, nem egyéni, mindennel összefüggő, azonos a minden alakzat mélyén rejlő egyetlen létezéssel.

Az időbeli véges személyiség mögül kibontakozó időtlen végtelenség: a lélek. A kibontakozásra nem szoruló időtlen végtelenség: az Isten.

Külön-külön határok csak a térben és időben vannak; ami tértelen, időtlen: bontatlan. A személyiség burkából kiemelkedő emberi lélek azonos az Istennel, mint a csönd a csönddel, hanem mint a zaj megszűnése a csönddel.

Az ember, mikor zártságból megszabadul, háromféleképpen látja az Istent: mint"van"-on túli, vonatkozás-nélküli lényeget; mint a mindenséget beburkoló és telesugárzó szerelmet: s mint a véges személyiség leomlása után felragyogó végtelen lelket.

Az Istenbe-olvadó ember számára nincs többé kívánatos és nemkívánatos, nincs többé semmiféle fokozat; minden végtelenül és kívánság nélkül szeret. Számára minden ugyanegy: minden a Teljes-Változatlan, melyből a számtalan változó jelenség árad. Isten tartalmazza a mindenséget, s a felszabadult lélek Istenben tartalmazza a mindenséget.

Omul pe care îl vezi intrând și ieșind: închis, individual; iar stratul cel mai adânc al ființei umane nu este închis, nu este individual, este interconectat cu tot, identic cu ființa unică de la baza tuturor formelor.
Infinitul atemporal care se desfășoară din spatele personalității finite în timp: e sufletul. Infinitul atemporal care nu are nevoie să se desfășoare: este Dumnezeu.
Limitele separate există doar în spațiu și timp; ceea ce este fără spațiu, atemporal: e neîntrerupt. Sufletul uman care iese din învelișul personalității este identic cu Dumnezeu, așa cum liniștea este cu liniștea, dar cum încetarea zgomotului este cu liniștea.
Omul, atunci când este eliberat de învelișul său, îl vede pe Dumnezeu în trei moduri: ca o ființă dincolo de "este", fără referință; ca iubirea care învăluie și radiază universul; și ca un suflet infinit care strălucește după dezintegrarea personalității finite.
Pentru omul imersat în Dumnezeu, nu mai există nimic de dorit sau de nedorit, nu mai există niciun grad; totul este iubire infinită și fără dorință. Pentru el, totul este la fel: totul este Absolutul Neschimbător, din care curg miriadele de fenomene schimbătoare. Dumnezeu conține totul, iar sufletul eliberat conține totul în Dumnezeu.
