If you consider your bounded person as yourself, do a Copernican inversion: consider the boundless totality as yourself, and your person as a temporary bound, a mere apparition, a "not-self".
Where sensation, impassivity, thought, thoughtlessness, change, immutability cease; where you would think there is nothing: there your very being begins.

Testedet, értelmedet, személyedet ne cseréld össze lényeddel, önmagaddal. Csak segédeszközöd; csak batyu, mely szükségleteid őrzője is, görnyesztő teher is.

Tested nem te vagy, hiszen csak anyag, mely folyton cserélődik: negyvenéves korodban húszéveskori testedből egyetlen parány sincsen. De érzelemvilágod és értelmed sem te vagy, hiszen még nem volt, mikor te már a bölcsőből nézegettél. Ki vagy? a határtalan, mely fogantatásodkor a határok közt megjelent.

Ha elhatárolt személyedet tekinted önmagadnak, végezz copernicusi fordulatot: a határtalan teljességet tekintsd önmagadnak, személyedet pedig ideiglenes kötöttségnek, puszta tüneménynek, ,,nem-én"-nek.

Ahol megszűnik az érzés, érzéketlenség, gondolat, gondolattalanság, változás, változatlanság; ahol azt hinnéd, hogy semmi sincsen: tulajdonképpeni lényed ott kezdődik.

Nu schimba corpul tău, mintea ta, persoana ta, cu ființa ta, cu tine însuți. Este doar auxiliarul tău; este doar bagajul tău, care este și gardianul nevoilor tale, și o povară apăsătoare.
Corpul tău nu ești tu, pentru că este doar o substanță care se schimbă constant: la vârsta de patruzeci de ani, nu mai există nici măcar o parte din corpul tău de douăzeci de ani. Dar nici emoțiile și intelectul tău nu sunt tu, pentru că nu erai încă, atunci când le priveai din leagăn. Cine ești tu? cel fără limite, care a apărut între granițe în momentul concepției tale.
Dacă îți consideri persoana mărginită ca fiind tu însuți, fă o inversiune copernicană: consideră totalitatea fără margini ca fiind tu însuți, iar persoana ta ca fiind o limită temporară, o simplă apariție, un "nu-sine".
Acolo unde senzația, impasibilitatea, gândirea, lipsa de gândire, schimbarea, imuabilitatea încetează; acolo unde ai crede că nu există nimic: acolo începe însăși ființa ta.
