I never needed a telescope to see the dizzying twilight of the celestial world, I just reached for the microscope with trembling hands. I thought that the smaller life is, the more imperfect it is. And I saw living creatures magnified to the size of poppy seeds with the power of twenty thousand eyes attached to each other, whose bodies are just as wonderful as ours. (...) And that's when I understood that in creation, the size of the shape does not weigh anything on the creator's pan of value, that the lands rolling in the world space are no more important in the eyes of the Lord than the rotatorries circling in a drop of water.
