A pack of wolves would be terribly foolish to think that the supply of sheep would increase without end. However, the human economy really managed to grow exponentially during the modern age, thanks only to the fact that every few years scientists came up with some discovery or invention - for example America, the internal combustion engine or the genetically engineered sheep. Money is printed by banks and governments, but backed by scientists.
