Not present. It's just a word. An abstract concept, it doesn't really exist. I'm writing right now, but that just means that I'm in a train of thought, trying to freeze into words what has been in my mind for a long time, and I'm waiting for what else will come to me from my future. But even a thousandth of a second of me is constantly changing: the future becomes the past without being present. Our life is like a film strip in which there are no still images.
