Be the valley for the world. Innate nature completed, return to original uniqueness. When original uniqueness is divided, It then becomes the instrumentalities. The Sage employs them, They then become the officers, Thus, subtle governance shapes not."

"Aki tudja, mi a férfiasság, de nőiességét megőrzi, ő az ég alatti számára hegyi patak. Őt nem hagyják el az örökkévalóság erői, visszatér csecsemő állapotba, s ott marad. Aki ismeri a fényt, de a sötétséget befogadja, az ég alatti számára példakép. Önmagát a határtalanságnak visszaadja, örökké tartó ereje sosem téveszt célt. Aki ismeri a dicsőséget, mégsem kerüli a szégyent, az ég alatti számára maga lesz a Völgy. Ki Völggyé vált, annak ereje önmagához képest elégséges, állapota faragatlan fatörzs. Ahogy a fatörzs darabjaiból szerszám készül, úgy használja bölcs erejét a vezetésre. Ezáltal a hivatalnokok irányítója lesz végül, és kormányzása így épül az erőszakmentességre."
