"Ha csak szemernyi a tudásom, de a hatalmas tao útját járom, félelmem csak attól lehet, hogy az útról letévedek. A tao útja sima és egyenes, mégis mindenki ösvényt keres…* Ha az udvart betölti a „rend” és a pompa, a szántóföldet elönti a gaz és a dudva… A nép magtárai üresen állnak, a vezetők ékes kelmékben járnak… Éles kardjaik villognak a fényben, ételben, italban dúskálnak kevélyen… Vagyonukkal hivalkodnak, rablás útján gyarapodnak… Így jutnak az élre… Ez nem az Ég Törvénye!"
