Man, freed from his individuality, is in common with God. The omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent.
The man freed from his individuality is not omniscient in the sense that he can tell you how much money is in a closed purse, that he knows tomorrow's newspaper today, that he can answer any question you may have with certainty. What would seem to people to be omniscience: an infinite repository of data; omniscience is not a set, but the knowledge of something simpler than 'one'.
He is not omnipotent enough to turn bread into a calabash; nor can he perhaps lift the sack which a sack-bearer easily carries. What would seem to men omnipotence: the infinite increase of success in life. He is omnipotent in such a way that, while he is going about his ordinary work, he carries in the depths of his being the action-less, complete operation of God.
It is not so omnipresent that if he is present in York, he would also be present in New York. What would appear to men as omnipresence: the full filling of space. It is omnipresent in that it reaches to the existent, to the point of no extension, which includes everything.

Az egyéniségétől megszabaduló ember nem úgy mindentudó, hogy megbírná mondani, mennyi pénz van egy csukott pénztárcában, s hogy a holnapi hírlapot már ma ismerné, s hogy akármilyen kérdésedre biztosan tudna felelni. Ami az embereknek mindentudásként tűnne: véghetetlen adat-tár; a mindentudás nem halmaz, csak éppen annak tudása, mely az „egy”-nél is egyszerűbb.

Nem úgy mindenható, hogy a kenyeret kaláccsá bírná változtatni; s talán meg sem emelheti azt a zsákot, melyet egy zsákhordó könnyen cipel. Ami az embereknek mindenhatóságként tűnne: az életbeli sikeresség véghetetlenné növelése. Úgy mindenható, hogy amíg hétköznapi munkáját végzi, lényének mélyén az Isten tett-nélküli, teljes működést viseli.

Nem úgy mindenütt-jelenvaló, hogy ha Nagyfüzesen van, jelen volna Kisfüzesen is. Ami az embereknek mindenütt jelenvalóságként tűnne: a tér teljes betöltése. Úgy mindenütt-jelenvaló, hogy elér a létezőig, a kiterjedéstelen pontig, mely mindent magába foglal.

Omul eliberat de individualitatea sa nu este omniscient în sensul că îți poate spune câți bani sunt într-o geantă închisă, că știe astăzi ziarul de mâine, că poate răspunde cu certitudine la orice întrebare pe care o ai. Ceea ce ar părea oamenilor a fi omnisciență: un depozit infinit de date; omnisciența nu este un set, ci cunoașterea a ceva mai simplu decât "unu".
Nu este suficient de omnipotent pentru a transforma pâinea într-un cozonac; și poate nici nu reușește să ridice sacul pe care un purtător de saci îl cară cu ușurință. Ceea ce li s-ar părea oamenilor omnipotență: creșterea infinită a succesului în viață. El este omnipotent în așa fel încât, în timp ce își desfășoară activitatea obișnuită, el poartă în adâncul ființei sale funcționarea completă, fără acțiune, a lui Dumnezeu.
Nu este atât de omniprezent încât, dacă el este prezent în Satu Mare, ar fi prezent și în Satu Mic. Ceea ce li s-ar părea oamenilor ca omniprezență: umplerea completă a spațiului. Este omniprezent în sensul că ajunge până la existent, până la punctul de neextindere, care include totul.
