"A világ legtöbb regulája megköveteli, hogy mondjunk le önmagunkról s álljunk ki a placcra, szolgáljuk a közt. Az emberek ér­demüknek tartják, hogy eltérítnek önma­gunktól, hiszen természetes hajlamból állí­tólag amúgy is túlságosan ragaszkodunk be­cses személyünkhöz; és ügyük védelmére minden érvet felvonultatnak.
