I am composed of formative force and matter; none perishes into nothingness, just as none came from nothingness. I myself am the result of such a change, so are my descendants, and so on, all the way back to infinity. Because there is nothing to prevent us from speaking like this, even if the flow of the world is divided into fixed periods.
