Szeresd, hirdesd és valld meg az igazságot, a kis és nagy igazságot, a köznapok és a végzetes percek igazságait, mindig, bátran és félelem nélkül. De nem árt, ha közben csendesen mosolyogsz is: magadon is, az igazságon is.

Mert az igazság állandó és változatlan, mint a természet nagy törvényei. De te, az ember, aki hiszel az igazságban és megvallod azt, nem vagy állandó, sem változatlan. Már az időjárás is megváltoztatja szándékaid, már a hóesés is eltérít az isteni parancs által kijelölt útról, már egy nő is hatással tud lenni reád: ilyen változékony vagy. Mit is remélhetsz önmagadtól?... Hirdesd az igazságot, de nem árt, ha néha mosolyogsz közben.

Iubește, proclamă și mărturisește adevărul, micile și marile adevăruri, adevărurile zilelor obișnuite și ale momentelor fatidice, întotdeauna, cu curaj și fără teamă. Dar nu strică să zâmbești liniștit în același timp: la tine însuți, la adevăr.

Chiar și vremea îți poate schimba intențiile, chiar și o ninsoare te poate abate de la calea stabilită prin poruncă divină, chiar și o femeie te poate afecta: astfel este caracterul tău schimbător. Ce poți spera pentru tine?... Proclamați adevărul, dar nu strică să zâmbești uneori.
