""Bătrânii uită multe, aproape tot. Murind, uită și ultimele lucruri. Dacă ne închipuim nașterea în viața viitoare, când vine pe lume, cel născut nu ține minte nimic, adică se găsește în aceeași stare ca fiecare copii nou-născut din lumea noastra (așa cred budiștii). Incorect e numai faptul că renașterea presupune timpul, iar uitarea e doar o ieșire din condițiile temporale.
