The other is the gold-digger's donkey, loaded with sacks, camping and cooking equipment, and four twenty-five-pound sacks full of ore. His back bends like an accordion under the load. The city donkey says: Well, you're carrying quite a load. To which the gold-digging donkey says: Burden? What kind of burden?

Két szamár találkozik egy oszlophoz kötve egy vadnyugati városban. Egyikük hátán nincs más, csak egy nyereg. A másik az aranyásó szamara, zsákokkal megrakodva, táborozó- és főzőfelszereléssel és négy huszonöt kilós, érccel teli zsákkal. Háta harmonikaszerűen legörbül a teher alatt. A városi szamár így szól: No, te aztán jó sok terhet cipelsz. Mire az aranyásó szamara ezt mondja: Teher? Miféle teher?
