Van, aki gond nélkül tölti életét, mert mindennap játszik kis tétben. De adjuk csak neki oda minden reggel azt a pénzt, amit aznap megnyerhet, és kössük ki, hogy ne játsszék: boldogtalanná tesszük vele. Erre azt mondhatják, nem a nyereségért, hanem a játék okozta szórakozásért játszik. Játsszon hát tét nélkül, nem leli benne kedvét, unatkozni fog. Tehát nem csupán a szórakozást keresi: a langyos, szenvedély nélküli szórakozás untatja.
