Într-o zi, totul va trebui să fie contabilizat. Dar totul. Este inevitabil. Și oricum ai gândi: ce ai greșit, ce datorezi, de ce ai fost laș, de ce te-ai făcut vinovat, vei da socoteală pentru toate într-o zi. De aceea, întărește-ți sufletul mereu, căci nu ești fără de păcat. Și dacă voi fi ars pe rug, să știi că sunt nevinovat, dar sunt și vinovat. Și dă socoteală de bunăvoie, înainte de a ți se cere: faci cu înțelepciune, iar oamenii te vor prețui mai mult dacă faci așa. Nu amâna socoteala. Ce poți spera? Ești un om, deci ești vinovat.
