I, my reason, has realized that life is meaningless. If there is no higher intelligence (and no one can prove this), then for me reason is the creator of life. If there were no reason, there would be no life for me. Well, then, how can this intellect deny life, if it itself is the creator of life? Or looking at it from another angle: if there were no life, I wouldn't have my reason either - so reason is the child of life. Life is everything. Reason is the fruit of life, and reason denies life itself.

Én, az én értelmem felismerte, hogy az élet értelmetlen. Ha nincs valami felsőbb értelem (márpedig ezt senki se tudja bebizonyítani), akkor számomra az értelem az élet teremtője. Ha nem volna értelem, akkor számomra élet se lenne. Hát, akkor hogy tagadhatja ez az értelem az életet, ha egyszer ő maga az élet teremtője? Vagy más oldalról nézve: ha nem volna élet, nem lenne az én értelmem sem - tehát az értelem az élet gyermeke. Az élet minden. Az értelem az élet gyümölcse, az értelem pedig tagadja magát az életet.
