Aztán meglátott a moha között egy hangyát. Kicsike kis sárga hangya volt, és hatalmas nagy fenyőtűt cipelt. Elakadt vele, kínlódott. "Vajon hova viszi? Milyen nagy akarat van benne! Mennyi sok akarat van a világon, lent és fönt és mindenütt. Sokféle nyüzsgő összevissza akarat, ami mind előbbre visz valamit... de mért és hova, ki tudja azt?..."
