Mergeam călare prin pădure și am văzut în desiș niște fructe coapte. Și m-am gândit: nimeni n-o să vadă aceste fructe de pădure, nu sunt nimănui de trebuință și lor nu le e nimeni de trebuință, dar ele îndeplinesc riguros, din răsputeri, nu menirea lor, ci cea care le e destinată, făcând voia Acelui „Eu“ care trăiește ca ființă separată în planta asta. La fel și omul care, spre deosebire de plantă, are avantajul (părelnic) că poate avea conștiința acestui „Eu“ universal în ființa sa separată.
