Mi-am amintit cum Soloviov mi-a luat în râs afirmația că nu pământul se învârte, ci soarele se deplasează, și m-am gândit că indiscutabil e mai înțelept să presupun, să gândesc și să spun că soarele se deplasează, decât că pământul se învârte. Prima afirmație este indiscutabilă, comuna tuturor și confirmata definitiv de simțuri, a doua este o concluzie a rațiunii, care în primul rând nu e accesibilă tuturor, în al doilea rând, nu e un raționament definitiv, ci duce într-un domeniu și mai puțin accesibil tuturor, cel al raționamentelor infinite și neîncheiate, neclare.
