Da, am citit ieri despre Marx al lui Engels... M-am trezit azi din somn cu o negare a materialismului clară, simplă, ușor de înțeles pentru toți. În stare de veghe nu mai era la fel de limpede ca în vis, dar ceva tot a rămas. Si anume că materialiștii trebuie să accepte că Ziditorul a comis o eroare pentru a explica de ce materia s-a rânduit astfel încât să formeze ființe separate, dintre care primul sunt eu, și cu asemenea însușiri cum sunt simțurile și mintea. Pentru nematerialist e limpede ca tot ce numesc lume materială este produsul „eului“ meu. Pentru el taina principală e separarea mea și a ființelor.
