Natural science, exploring matter in its thousands and thousands of hidden ways, paying attention to the role it plays in the household of nature, sees it in a different light, judges in a different way about the relationship between matter and force, body and soul, which judgment it sounds: that matter is not inferior to the spirit, but is in any case equal to it.
