Iată deci că artistul, deși amator pasionat de specificitate, nu se poate feri complet de a nu exprima prin opera sa și generalul... Dar, ... artistul nu poate utiliza expresii valabile pentru orice societate, el nu poate fi cu desăvârșire universal... Dacă ar fi așa, ar pierde particularitatea, originalitatea. Arta s-ar transforma în știință, expresia ar deveni o formulă matematică...
