Amikor a fiatalok azzal fordulnak hozzám, hogy kutatók akarnak lenni, mert szeretnének hozzájárulni az emberi szenvedés enyhítéséhez, én inkább jótékonysági intézményekhez küldöm őket. A kutatás önző embereket kíván, akiket szenvedélyesen érdekelnek a "haszontalan" kérdések, és megoldásukért hajlandók mindent feláldozni, még a saját életüket is.
