Of course, God may have had some unknown reason for "entrusting" the development of life and meaningful life to a process like Darwinian evolution. But what we can think of about the reasons for an omnipotent, omniscient, and morally perfect being points to the fact that such a being would have plausible reasons for not doing so, that either the special creation, or something that is much more appropriate for its purposes, what we opt for an evolutionary process of a completely different nature than the known one when it wanted to create living beings.
