Mennyi bűntől, háborútól és gyilkosságtól, mennyi nyomorúságtól mentette volna meg az emberi nemet, aki ekkor kihúzza a karókat, betemeti az árkot, s azt kiáltja felebarátainak: őrizkedjetek attól, hogy erre a csalóra hallgassatok!
