Actually, science and philosophy are not useful for salvation; Jesus came to earth to reveal the secrets of heaven and the laws of the spirit. He brought the good news for none other than the soul. The soul is sufficient for him, as He is sufficient for the soul. Before that, the soul was nothing. Matter and time were the masters of the world. Everything fell into place according to his word. Science and philosophy became secondary. The soul regained its sovereignty. All scholastic scaffolding, like an edifice, collapses before one word: faith.
