Love cannot pass away - it remains. This is why no one can be comforted when they lose someone they love. All comfort is weak and false. Especially the phrase "time will heal your wounds". Not true. It's not a wound that heals. The feeling of pain may diminish over time, but the feeling of being torn apart remains.
