I discovered that the stars are not permanent. They melt. I saw with my own eyes that one or another of the most beautiful ones melted and fell from the sky. (...) That's why I want to keep vigil every night to watch and guard as long as I can stay awake. At least this way I can remember the bright sky field. If they disappear one day, I can at least imagine the myriads of magnificent stars in the sky, make them shine again and see them twice in the dazzle of my tears.
