Quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
English (Source)
Dying (...) is nothing but a balancing act of self-consciousness, sometimes filled and sometimes emptied by the alternating ebbs and flows of memory. The flood of memories swells up and then fades away, bringing back like so many seashells, the way it took in a moment before, the stored images, the humming triton horns of the sounds you once heard. It breaks to the surface, again flooding the dried seaweed of the heart with water, which invigorates all tender emotions. But the equinox is already making a final ebb, the heart is emptied, the tide and everything it carried turns to God.

A haldoklĂĄs (...) nem egyĂ©b, mint az emlĂ©kezet egymĂĄst vĂĄltĂł dagĂĄlyai Ă©s apĂĄlyai ĂĄltal hol feltöltött, hol kiĂŒrĂŒlt öntudat mĂ©rlegjĂĄtĂ©ka. Az emlĂ©kek ĂĄrja feltorlĂłdik, majd elapad, megannyi kagylĂłkĂ©nt hozva vissza, ahogyan egy pillanattal elĆbb magĂĄval ragadta, az elraktĂĄrozott kĂ©peket, a valaha hallott hangok zĂșgĂł tritonkĂŒrtjeit. FelszĂnre tör, ismĂ©t vĂzzel ĂĄrasztja el a szĂv szĂĄrazra vetett tengerifĂŒveit, amitĆl felpezsdĂŒl minden gyengĂ©d Ă©rzelem. Ăm a napĂ©jegyenlĆsĂ©g mĂĄr kĂ©szĂtgeti vĂ©gleges apĂĄlyĂĄt, a szĂv kiĂŒrĂŒl, a vĂzĂĄr Ă©s mindaz, amit hordozott, megtĂ©r Istenhez.
