"Nézd ezt a fát. Látod a sok falevelet rajta? Mindegyiknek, még a legkisebbiknek is van mélyen lent a földben egy kis hajszálgyökerecskéje, mely élettel látja el. Ősszel lehull a levél, igaz. Minden ősszel lehull. De annak a kis hajszálgyökerecskének a jóvoltából visszatér újra minden tavasszal. Ha azonban a gyökérszál pusztul el ott a föld alatt, a levelecske nem tér vissza többé, s idő múltával elpusztul a fa is. Mert a gyökérben van az élet, érted?
